New research shows that we humans aren't as good as we think we are at doing several things at once. But it also highlights a human skill that gave us an evolutionary edge. As technology allows people to do more tasks at the same time, the myth that we can multitask has never been stronger. But researchers say it's still a myth — and they have the data to prove it. Humans, they say, don't do lots of things simultaneously. Instead, we switch our attention from task to task extremely quickly.

A president's pension currently is $191,300 per year until 80.  Assuming the next president lives to age 80.  Sen. McCain would receive ZERO pension, since he would reach 80 at the end of two terms as president. Sen. Obama would be retired for 26 years after two terms and would receive $4,973,800 in pension. Therefore, it would certainly make economic sense to elect McCain in November. *How's that for non-partisan thinking???*
