We've got one of those candy machines at work - you know, the kind where you get a handful of skittles or M&M's? Ours benefits the Juvenile Diabetes foundation. It took a co-worker to point out to me the total irony in that, and that title is his quote, but I liked it. Come to think of it, the Lions Club uses those too, and they help the blind. ( there's a link between blindness and diabetes )

A president's pension currently is $191,300 per year until 80.  Assuming the next president lives to age 80.  Sen. McCain would receive ZERO pension, since he would reach 80 at the end of two terms as president. Sen. Obama would be retired for 26 years after two terms and would receive $4,973,800 in pension. Therefore, it would certainly make economic sense to elect McCain in November. *How's that for non-partisan thinking???*
